Dying wool naturally - this time it´s Avocado seeds soft pink

I´m not sure why I bother to post here anymore as blogging is rather dead, isn´t it? Anyhow. I made another wool dying experiment. This time I was on the hunt for a skin tone.  I´ve been rather unhappy about the skin tone of my newest little wool girl. The skin toned wool I bought was either to grayish or to pinky for my taste. Using hand carders and mix them with white left it spotty. What to do? Hmmm .... googling around for dying my own wool again. I got lovely results with Rhubarb and Tumeric already so why not try another natural dye? Can you see that strange stone on the left side of the pot? Any ideas? It´s an Avocado seed. And just look at that lovely soft pink color I got. Happy here! :-) Now off to get my girl an even nice skintone.
