Air Show

For all wondering if I'm still alive. Yes, I am! ;-)
It's just that my garden needs attention, it's Eastern holiday's here and 4 year old has to be entertained. So not much time for doing anything miniature related. Yesterday we have been to a huge air show in Friedrichshafen (south of Germany). 4 year old was quite impressed sitting in helicopters and looking at small and huge air planes (43 year old was pretty happy, too). We even could watch a Zeppelin land and start. Friedrichshafen is the city where they originally built Zeppelin's starting in 1899. The Zeppelin museum still operates them for visitors.
The whole way back home we heard "zeppelin, zeppelin" in the back of our car.

They build a couple of these Zeppelins. And, yes, you can really take a ride (or is it take-a-flight?) in them. The tiny little thing underneath the balloon is where the passengers sit. We thought to fly with it too but 200Euro per Person for half an hour is a bit too expensive.
