Der Kraxentraeger

I've finished my newest doll " Der Kraxentraeger". Sorry, there is no easy translation for this. It means something like  "carrier of the rucksack".
He is 1/12th scale. His arms and legs are movable. I made him real leather trousers and a linen shirt with a little Edelweiss stitched onto it. I intended to give him a beard but decided against it as the face turned out so well.

I have an award for you on my blog.
You make such amazing dolls.

Not only are his clothing and rucksack perfect but his expression and stance are also spot-on! How talented you are! So many dolls look puffed up or stilted and fake. He is absolutely realistic.

Yes! And he looks appropriately pensive or even grumoy with his task. He is truly remarkable! CM
